Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert, born January 27, 1970, is an American broadcast journalist who was previously a government official. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.



 



 Prior to becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was an Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in the Trump administration from March through October 2018. Nauert was also appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by Trump.
